Winter Celebration at Preschool - 12/17/10
Logan's preschool had a Winter Celebration on Friday. The class learned 'Jingle Bells' and sang to the parents. Here are some photos of the shindig.
Here is the Gingerbread house Logan made to decorate the classroom.
Here are the kids singing 'Jingle Bells'. Some were happier to sing than others!

This shows his true personality - acting silly with his friends.

Holiday Weekend - December 11-12, 2010
Our weekend started with a celebration dinner for Daddy's 35th Birthday. We went to Salish Lodge for a nice dinner.

Then we came home and had cheesecake. Daddy needed help pulling out all those candles.
On Sunday morning, we got up for the Jingle Bell 5K. It was pouring rain, but we still had fun.

Next, we went to Santa Brunch at Icon Grill with Logan's friend from school, Sarah (and her family).

Logan liked Santa, Sarah wasn't so sure about that guy.

They both loved the piano player, who said he did not know Jingle Bells, but Logan and Sarah sang it and he was able to play it for them.

After brunch, we baked holiday cookies and cupcakes.

It was a full and fun weekend!

Weekend in Leavenworth - Decemner 4-5, 2010
We spent the weekend in Leavenworth for the annual Tree Lighting. Leavenworth is about 2.5 hours from Seattle and is high in the Cascades.

Starbucks was the warmest place in town. We waited in line for 35 minutes to get a hot chocolate.
Logan didn't make it through the line and fell asleep on Daddy's shoulder.

After he woke up, it was getting dark and time for the tree lighting.

We stayed at the Sleeping Lady Resort and had our own cabin. Logan loved the loft!
On Sunday, we started the day with some sledding.

Then we went on a house-drawn carriage ride through the woods.

Before heading back to Seattle, we all tried cross-country skiing for the first time. Logan really enjoyed it.

After skiing, Logan found a pile of snow and couldn't help himself from throwing a few snowballs at Mommy and Daddy.
